Essie Dress to Kilt Fall 2014

I have another gorgeous Fall collection to show you today!  This time from Essie.  Let me tell you- I love this collection.  It is packed with great formulation and gorgeous shades.  Per usual, I've made a video for you to see live swatches so you can decide for yourself how great these are and not just take my word for it.  You can find that here:

Dress to Kilt is this gorgeous almost raspberry red.  So perfect and creamy.  This is two coats without top coat and it didn't stain at all.  I can see myself picking this red over others already in my collection.  Totally love it.

Fall in Line is a gorgeous gray/camo green cream.  This one almost does ok in one coat, but I used two here and I really enjoyed it at two.  This color is so fabulous and you know I'm in love with grayed-out polishes. This applied so easily and gave me zero issues.

Partner in Crime is one of the one-coaters of the collection.  I've shown it to you here at just one coat, but I'll probably do two next time to get a more luscious appearance.  However, if you're in a hurry you can totally get away with just one.  It's a gorgeous, very deep, cocoa brown.  Not my favorite of the collection, but I appreciate that it'll be an easy brown polish to rely on.

Style Cartel is a seriously divine deep blue.  I wish so badly that this polish didn't stain my nails like crazy. Unfortunately that means that I can't really recommend this polish to you :(  I've shown you two coats here, so use your own discretion about whether you want your nails to all turn blue :)

Take it Outside is this lovely taupe/beige cream.  I've shown you two coats and you definitely need both to make it nice and clean.  I am so in love with this color, but it has some very similar brothers and sisters in recent releases from China Glaze, OPI, and Zoya.  However, this one is equally as lovely as those.

The Perfect Cover Up is the other one-coater from the collection.  This is a richly pigmented deep teal/gray but it didn't stain at all as teals often do.  I have shown you two coats and it applied cleanly.  Totally in love with this polish as an alternative to black or deep brown for Fall.

So how are you feeling about Essie for Fall??  I couldn't be happier to see that they pulled out some great formulas again and that I'm able to recommend this collection to you fully.  All except the blue, these are love for me.

I hope you're having a great day and I'll see you back tomorrow!
