Saturday Random Swatchfest 2/28/2015

Well hello there!  I hope you're having an absolutely wonderful day! :)  We're taking a look at last Saturday's Saturday Random Swatchfest.  We looked at 10 random polishes from my stash that haven't appeared anywhere on my blog or channel.  If you'd like to see live application of all the polishes you can find that here:

As you can see, I had a guest host on my channel :)  I hope you enjoyed.

Let's look at some polish:
First we have our red polish, this is FingerPaints Romanesque Rouge.  This one is bright and lovely- an easy two-coater.  A

Our pink polish today is Color Club Je T'aime.  This light pink cream comes from the Paris in Love collection- all of which I love!  This applied easily in two coats and is a perfect sweet, light pink.  A

For the orange category today we're looking at this bronze kind-of frost from Color Club called Model Behavior.  This one didn't apply as easily as I'd like.  It was just a little finicky.  However if you're looking for a shade like this in your collection, I do think this one turns out nicely in the end. B

Our yellow/gold polish today is OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby.  It comes from the Gwen Stefani collection and it's such a nice, soft gold- aided by the formula which dries satin matte.  This is two easy coat.  A

For green we're looking at Sinful Colors Happy Ending.  This one is so cool because it's a lime green with tons of gold shimmer that shines from within.  I was able to achieve this level of opacity at two coats.  I really loved this one.  You're looking at two coats.  A

Our blue polish today is this amazing deep royal cream from Orly called La Playa.  This is so creamy and beautiful!  Definitely a must-have standard.  A

Next we'll look at our purple polish.  This is Zoya Stevie which is a lilac pixie dust textured polish. This is just so yum and looks just like a gumdrop.  This is two coats without topcoat, as I do all my swatches unless otherwise noted.  A

Our neutral polish today is this green gray with gold flakies in it.  It's Pahlish Gilded Greenwich. This is such and understated winner.  I love how dark the base is next to the brightness of the gold flakes. I'm showing you two coats.  A

Our glitter today is a topper.  It's a clear base with gold and orange glitter bits in it.  This is China Glaze Electrify from the Hunger Games collection.  This one is pretty, not my favorite color palette but still nice.  B

Last up we have a silvered-purple holographic from Jindie Nails.  This is called Sippin' on Jindie Juice and it's a one-coater.  So so nice and it just jumped over the top for me which is why it is my A+ polish of the week.

I hope you enjoyed and let me know what your A+ polish of the week was!

Zoya Spring 2015 Delight Live Application Review

Hello! I hope everyone's having a great day!  Last week I posted a live application review on my channel about the new Zoya Spring 2015 Delight collection.  If you'd like to see that review so you can check out formula for yourself, you can do so here:

There are 6 polishes in this collection, three creams and three shimmers.  These are very Spring, very Easter.  They feel like the exact colors you'd die your Easter eggs.  Let's start out with my favorite:
First up we have Daisy.  This is a light yellow with strong, micro, turquoise shimmer.  I thought it was such a fun combination and such a lovely surprise that I totally fell in love with it.  This is two coats no topcoat.

Next let's look at the darkest cream, this is Eden.  I'm showing you two coats of this medium blue-toned pink.  So much pigment here and it applies smooth and easily.  Not my favorite color, but still lovely.

The first shimmer we'll look at is Leslie.  She is a pastel purple with lots of that turquoise shimmer again.  Just gorgeous.  I've done two coats here.

The pastel blue cream in the collection is called Lillian.  It very light, but not as pale as Zoya Blu for example.  This is two easy coats.

The other blue in the collection is Rayne.  I prefer this shimmer to the cream in the collection, again. It's so lovely and really dynamic.  This is two coats, no issues here.

Lastly we have one more cream called Tiana.  This is a very pale green, but not as light as Zoya Neely.  It has just a bit more vibrancy but still quite pastel.  I got this opaque in two easy coats.

There you have it- the Zoya Spring Delight collection for 2015.  I hope you enjoyed this quick look and it helps you decide if you need any of these beauties.

Have a great day and I'll see you back next time!
