FingerPaints Film Noir Collection

Hello loves, I have a quick, four-piece collection for you today from FingerPaints called Film Noir.  There are 3 cream mattes and 1 matte glitter.  If you'd like to see live application so you know what to expect from the formula, you can find that here:

Let's look at some photos here:

First up is Film Noir which is a lovely deep berry/plum matte.  As you can see, these are very matte, no shine at all.  I think people will either really like or really dislike that.  However, I don't think that's the most important thing to know about these polishes.  The formula dries so quickly that my second brushstroke tried to pick up the paint from my first which made it so these were a little tricky to apply.  The formula was consistent across the board so if you really love these, just know that about the application process.  You can pretty much get away with one coat on all of these but I've shown you two.  If you want to see how it looks with a glossy top coat, I've shown that in the video.

Next is the very chalky Petal Obsession.  This literally looks like a pink chalkboard on the nail.  I think it's totally fun and interesting how matte this is.  I've done two coats again here, but you can totally just do one. This was probably my favorite of the group.

Then we have Blue Mystery which is a companion to the chalky pink above, because this is a chalky dusty baby blue.  This has the same formula as the rest and I've done two coats here.

 

The glitter of the collection is called Hollywood Decadence.  I'm so glad they included this one- it has gold, red/pink, and blue glitters in a milky white/pink base.  This looks great on its own here at two coats or rather nice over all three of the creams in the collection.

The display also has a couple Femme Couture chubby lip crayons that you receive for free if you purchase two of these shades and it's a love deep berry that has a lovely creamy consistency and staying power.
