A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!! My weekly wrap-up includes a few weeks worth of our family's activities.
To start things off- we had Christmas a little early because the boys would be spending the holidays in Utah with their dad, so we went ahead and had our celebration about a week in advance :) Here's what "Christmas Morning" looked like at our house.
This is cooperation not greed-yay!
We had a happy Christmas Morning Bug- so happy in fact I could barely get a picture of him that wasn't in motion the whole morning.
That happy face came from a Cars Finn McMissile toy. Ah the simple things! =D
Taking a giant leap up off the couch in excitement as his new movie begins to play.
More happy faces at joint efforts.
=D My sweet Bear
Now look who had her first Christmas!
A pink monkey from Bear?? How perfect!
All the perfect first reactions =)
And the 3 most precious gifts of all!
She's been making some big strides to walking/standing on her own.
So- a few days after that we left for our road trip to drop off the boys and visit family.
First stop was coooooold Utah Valley.
Oops, who gave that girl some Oreo cookie?
Next stop was Vegas for Mr. T Dawg's first time there. This is our view of Tournament of Kings. What a fun time!! If you get the chance definitely attend while you're there.
My two cuddly dinner companions.
The Excalibur- where we stayed while we were there.
We walked around quite a bit in Vegas, and it was no Utah, but it was still cold, and missy Bee hates to wear socks and throws them away as soon as she can- this occasion gloves became footwear of necessity.
Need I say more?
Of course we went to see the Bellagio fountains.
Another sleepy time in the car with her new Christmas dolly.
Yes a LOT of time in the car- but we found ways to make it interesting.
Next stop was cousins in Southern California. First time for miss Bee to meet all these lovies.
Whoa, more big boys.
And sweet ladies.
Then we headed north via Monterrey Bay, and boy was it beautiful!!
The waves were crashing serenely and I could have sat there all day
Somehow we arrived home...finally. But what are Holidays for but to pack full with new adventures and FAMILY and so so much time in the car apparently.
Now I'm home and I can chillax in my own pad. And um maybe have a leetle bit of
New Year's Eve chocolate...shhhh
Over and Out
