Time for some Sinful Colors! There have been a ton of Sinful displays cropping up at Rite Aid and Walgreens lately. A number of the collections are filled primarily or entirely with re-promoted shades. Today's post will look at the 6 new polishes in the Silk and Satin collection and then I will also show you two polishes from the Practice Your Accents collection that was mostly re-promotes but had two lovely new neutral cream polishes. If you would like to see how these polishes swatch in a live application video, you can do that here:
On to the photos and review:
First up we have this lovely deep blue/indigo called Matte About Blue. These polishes do all have a satin finish and this one has a bit of shimmer and dimension but the polish still has a flat finish. This one was actually a bit tricky to even out on the second coat- and you can see a bit of that on the middle finger. I really do love this color and I think the finish is kind of sexy... :)Next up is Pipaya which doesn't have any dimension but is just a bright, lovely cream. It does have a satin finish and I had no issues with application here. This is a bright tomato red that really looks nice in its natural finish. You're looking at two coats.
Prime Purple is this dusty light lavender that is very sweet but somehow mysterious at the same time. I think this is because of the combination of the satin finish and the dusty color. You're looking at two coats, and you definitely need both coats for opacity.
This polish is very similar to the blue in that it has the lovely dimension while still being a satin finish. It is called Real Teal and was like the others- being rather sheer on the first coat, but quite lovely after the second. Also, you have to admit, the shade is super pretty and feels very jewel-toned. I think this one will be great for Fall. This is two coats.
Next up is Silver Solution which is very dense with shimmer. Look at all that sparkle- yet it still has that satin finish! As you can see, this does not become completely opaque at two coats, which is what you're looking at here, so you may want to try a third. I still think it's wearable like this, but you can decide how you prefer it.
Lastly, they gave us this sunny lemon cream called Solar Flux. Kind of an interesting name there...I'd probably call it something more like lemon pudding because it's not bright enough to be solar, but oh well. :) It was still a bit patchy on the second coat, but workable. I really like yellow polishes so I was happy to find this unique satin yellow. This is two coats.
Now that we've covered the polishes in Silk and Satin collection, let's look at the two new neutrals from the Practice Your Accents display:
First is Beaches and Cream which is absolutely lovely and has just the right amount of yellow in it. This took just two coats to be even and I think it's going to be great for cleansing the palate in Fall and Winter and for nail art.
The other new polish from that display is called Beige of Honor. What a great color- a bit beige and a bit taupe. Fabulous for Fall and it applied so smoothly in two coats. I would definitely recommend both of these polishes to you, especially for the price.
There you have it- 6 satin finish polishes and two lovely neutral creams from two of the new displays for Sinful Colors. What do you think? Are you going to pick up any of these polishes? I hope you're having a fabulous day, and I'll see you back tomorrow.

Over and out
I think the cream silks are the first LE SC that I have passed on in a loooong time, but I am loving those shimmery ones!
