Everything But the Kitchen Sink

Good morning :)  It's Monday- do you look forward to Mondays or dread them?  I hope we all look forward to them because it means the renewal of accomplishment and achievement.  Let's get a lot done this week, peeps!

I have a fun look for you today that throws a whole bunch of fun nail art looks into one manicure.  I started out with a base of Sally Hansen Sugar Coat Lick-o-rich which is a black textured polish. The Sally Hansen formula for textured polish is akin to China Glaze's formula which is more sandy rather than glittery.  Next I sponged on some shades from China Glaze Summer's Sunsational collection: Neon & On & On and Bottoms Up for a gradient on each nail.  This ended up looking kind of like colors on a chalkboard to me so I took some chalky white acrylic through mixing colors and painted some graphic lines on each nail- detailing the index finger for the accent finger.  So you have textured polish, neons, gradient, and then throw in a little tribal and you have quite a look :)

What do you think?  Do you like the color combination? I think it's really fun to mix trends in nail art.  Here is the base polish on its own at two coats:
You know I love me a textured polish.  This was no fun to clean up, I tell you, but I still love the look of it.  So much fun.

That's my nail inspiration for you today.  Hope you and yours are well.  Enjoy the holiday season and have a happy heart!
