Going from fierce to floral today. Happy Saturday :) I have the very opposite of yesterday's neon tigress nails. Today I have a sweet little floral mani for you. I wanted to try the little three step roses that are all over the place right now. Here's what I ended up with:
What is nice about this print is that it's easy and you can still tell they're flowers without having to do that much detail. Basically the three steps are: place a number of blobs of paint on your nails in one color. Then using another color in that same family(for example pinks in my manicure) make little "u" shapes on the blob- like three or four on each blog/circle. Then take white and make some outlining "u" shapes on each rose- again three or four of these. Optionally you can take a green polish of your choice and make some little leaves somewhat attached to each rose. Give it a try- I think you'll be happy with what you can pump out :) The polishes I used for this mani are L'oreal Penthouse Pink, Rimmel Posh Pink, Ulta Snow White, and Sally Hansen Perfect Pear-ing.
Here is two coats of the very finicky Penthouse Pink:
Honestly this polish is a PAIN to work with. It's sweet and pretty but not really worth it because there are many other polishes just like this one out there. That's it for today- I'll see you back tomorrow for delicate print.
